About the Founder
Star “LIT” Candles was founded by Starlett Tabares, a self-taught candle maker, single mother, and woman fueled by resilience and faith in brighter days. What began as a creative hobby soon became a purpose-driven business during a season of personal hardship and family loss.
As a single mother, Starlett was determined to find a way to provide for her daughter while remaining fully present as her primary caregiver. Candle making became both a source of healing and a path forward — transforming moments of struggle into something warm, meaningful, and beautiful.
Built on positivity, love, and women empowerment, Star “LIT” Candles exists to remind others that even in life’s darkest moments, light can still shine. Every candle is poured with intention, heart, and the belief that small flames can create powerful comfort.
